Frontend Engineer Jobs

Our engineering team is looking for a Frontend Engineer is passionate about crafting an exceptional user experiences and is enthusiastic about making an impact!
What you will be doing:

• Collaborating with our product manager and designer to generate ideas for new features and establish new design standards for Hive.
• Translate design wireframes and mockups into efficient and reusable React components.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained at all times through strong testing practices.
• Update Bootstrap pages to refresh legacy pages to meet current design standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in customer feedback sessions and gather user feedback.
• Collaborating with a designer to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience creating design system component libraries with tools such as Storybook.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code for performance and scalability
• Ability to work and drive projects effectively in a remote team environment
• Experience collaborating in Figma
• Strong communication and technical writing/documentation skills
• Proficiency in React/Typescript and their core principles
• Knowledge of testing frameworks/libraries such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• You might have a great CompSci or Engineering degree, or something else, or you dropped out, or you didn't even go to school - our team is made up of all kinds of smart people!
• 3+ years of frontend and/or full stack development experience, with an emphasis on UX

• Experience with these is a plus, but we know smart people are quick learners!
• Infra: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Backend: Python, Django
• Databases: Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
