Software Engineer (100% Remote, Java/Vert.x)

At this time, they’re looking to add on a 12-month Java contractor to their team who brings experience with a unique technical skill set; Java and experience working on the Vert.x framework. In addition to this, the team also works with a mix of SQL/NoSQL databases and host all of their applications in the cloud on AWS.
After the one-year duration, there is a strong possibility of full-time conversion or extension.

Required Skills & Experience

• Java 8+
• SQL/NoSQL DB experience
• Vert.x

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus, though not a requirement
• Java 11 experience is a plus, though not a requirement
