Qa Test Analyst/Engineer

This is a 12 month contract located in Scarborough, ON/ Hybrid

Typical Day in Role:

• Document and review test cases with project stakeholders, responsible for end to end test planning

• Responsible for quality of testing deliverables/activities

• Responsible for manual functional test cases using existing frameworks

• Perform integration and regression testing using existing frameworks

• Create and review Test Plan/Execution document, Test Suite, Traceability matrix etc. and walkthrough with different teams, plan and coordinate defect triage

• Support the implementation of various processes and standards through continuous test execution and reporting

• Leverages the existing manual frameworks, tools and artifacts to ensure testing process is continuous and comprehensive

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:

1. 5-7+ years of working experience as a QA Test Analyst

2. 5+ years of application testing in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, manual testing in a variety of environments

3. 1+ year of hands-on experience and testing knowledge on Trade360 trade finance platform

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Trade Finance Operations domain experience

• Previous exposure to Banking/Trade Finance industry

• Knowledge on SWIFT

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization

• Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences

• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

Education:

• Undergraduate Degree in business or computer science, or related working experience
