If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are recruiting for a leading manufacturing facility located in London, Ontario. Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources within our manufacturing facility. The HR Generalist will collaborate with both management and employees to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Policy development and implementation
- Partner with department managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee benefits programs, facilitate open enrollment, and address employee inquiries related to benefits and compensation.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Support safety initiatives by collaborating with the health and safety team to ensure a safe work environment
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 3- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
