Senior Business Analyst -10+ Years Experience

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst – Senior for one of our clients.

Core Skills and Experience

·10+ years of demonstrated experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.

·Knowledge and demonstrated experience with a wide range of methods, techniques and tools for business architecture such as, but not limited to:

obusiness functional modeling,

oservice lifecycle modeling,

obusiness event modeling,

obusiness process mapping,

obusiness process re-engineering.

oUser/Stakeholder Journey Mapping

·Demonstrated experience in successfully completing business requirements and architectures in government settings or similar complex, multi-project/multi-client organizations.

·Knowledge and experience with information technology providing the ability to integrate and identify IT-enabled opportunities to solve business pressures/needs.

·Experience and knowledge of development process framework and methods (Scrum, Agile and Zachman Framework) including business / information /application / technology / security architectures.

·5+ years of experience with Agile project management and development practices (managing the backlog, preparing and supporting the scrum master, sprint planning, creating user stories etc.

IT Knowledge and Experience:

·10+ years of demonstrated experience in business analysis and requirements gathering and translating business requirements into epics and scenarios and creating mock-ups for the stakeholders to review. Experience with cloud-hosting and integration of micro-services.

·Proven and demonstrable troubleshooting and analytical experience.

·Demonstrated excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

·Demonstrated awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies.

·Highly proficient using MS Office products

·Demonstrated experience in using collaborative tools.

·In-depth knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and I&IT project management methodologies.

·Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

·Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions

·Demonstrated experience with a wide range of methods, tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping, user/stakeholder journey.

·Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements

·Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up

·Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

·Knowledge and understanding of and experience in the use of latest industryemerging IT trends and technologies (Digital Trust and Artificial Intelligence).

·Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

·Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience.

·Demonstrated ability to apply strong listening skills to facilitate issue resolution.

·Strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills with ability to build rapport with stakeholders and drive negotiations to a successful outcome.

·Excellent customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy to ensure client needs are managed effectively.

·A motivated, flexible, detail-oriented and creative team player with perseverance, excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities, and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines.

Public Sector Experience

·Demonstrated experience preparing standard enterprise architecture frameworks, preparing architecture artifacts (or similar), and experience producing technical documentation that comply with standards, guidelines and best-practices.

·Knowledge and experience with Health related or Health Insurance related projects.

·Knowledge and understanding of project management policies and IT project approval processes and requirements.

·Experience adopting and adhering to unified I&IT project methodology, architecture and gating processes, and standard systems development methodologies.

·Knowledge of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and it’s municipal equivalent the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and their respective regulations.
