Senior Agile Project Manager

Agile project management services and facilitation for the organization's Policy and Research Team This service will be supporting the team in the daily project and change management for policy and business process implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

• The Agile Project Manager Services will define the objectives outcomes and outputs and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, including the tracking of key milestones and providing status reporting to necessary stakeholders. The individual is also responsible for adjusting project roadmaps and/or resources to meet the needs of customers and coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, timeline, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
• The role of the Agile Project Manager Services is to define, plan, execute and measure benefit realization within their projects. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and resources to deliver projects according to plan and customer expectations.

Specific Project/Platform Requirements

• Develop communication materials to support implementation of new ways of working and change management plan initiatives
• Conduct quarterly and annual planning.
• Facilitate Agile adoption on a non-technical team helping on the creation of a structured backlog. Conduct the Agile ceremonies. Help the team in their path of continuous improvement.
• Help stimulate employee engagement, collaboration, and innovation.
• Interact with the stakeholders. Remove roadblocks.
• Report project progress and team metrics

Skills

Top Skills Required:

• Communicate and update plan with stakeholders, PO, and Program Manager.
• Able to conduct all Agile ceremonies within Kanban.
• Assist the Initiative Owner in developing and maintaining the roadmap and backlog.

Other Skills Required:

• Ability to advise senior leaders.
• Complex stakeholder management.
• Workshop facilitation techniques.
• Use of tools such as MS Teams to communicate with disperse teams.

Assets:

• Experience working in: ESG advisory, information management, financial services; corporate sustainability; federal crown corporation.
• Project Management Certification
• Agile Certification or equivalent
