Our top government client on the Oomple Platform is looking for a Sr. Agile Project Manager who will join their team for a 13-month remote contract.
As a Senior Agile Project Manager, your role involves defining, planning, executing, and measuring benefit realization for projects. This includes coordinating team members and resources to meet project objectives and customer expectations. You will support daily project and change management for ESG policy and business process implementation. Throughout the project's life cycle, you will define objectives, outcomes, and outputs, ensuring quality control and tracking key milestones. Additionally, you will provide status reporting to stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to project roadmaps and resources to meet customer needs. Coordination of communication across the enterprise that impacts project scope, budget, timeline, risk, and resources also falls under your responsibilities.
Top Skills Required:
- Must be eligible for Enhanced Reliability Status
- Able to conduct all Agile ceremonies within Kanban.
- Be able to communicate and update plans with stakeholders, PO, and Program Manager.
- Assist the Initiative Owner in developing and maintaining the roadmap and backlog.
Other skills Required:
- Use tools such as MS Teams to communicate with dispersed teams.
- Knowledge and experience with various workshop facilitation techniques.
- Complex stakeholder management.
Asset:
- Agile Certification or equivalent
- Experience working in ESG advisory, information management, financial services; corporate sustainability; federal crown corporation.
- Project Management Certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop communication materials to support the implementation of new ways of working and change management plan initiatives
- Interact with the stakeholders. Remove roadblocks.
- Conduct quarterly and annual planning.
- Report project progress and team metrics
- Help stimulate employee engagement, collaboration, and innovation.
- Conduct the Agile ceremonies. Help the team in their path of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Agile adoption on a non-technical team helping on the creation of a structured backlog.
