- Assist Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management projects, such as Restaurant RM & Spa RM
- Maintaining an open and efficient flow of information to and from all operating departments within the hotels
- Co-facilitate weekly RevMax (RevUP) meetings with the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge team
- Monitor any changes in inventory for the properties and provide guidance on the impact on the current strategies.
- Work with RM Team to determine effective and engaging rate offers or packages which are then distributed through the proper channels
- Maximize room revenue contribution with a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rates therein.
- Support Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management decisions and ensure communication with the RM Team
- Continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumer booking trends.
- Daily Monitoring of OTAs to avoid rate parity issues for all properties
- Other duties as assigned
- Support DRM, Tour during peak contracting season with reporting and presentations
- Support the CWMR Region in Revenue Management projects/tasks and coverage with annual vacations
- Contribute to the set up and launching of new distribution channels in conjunction with GRC, so the region may be a leader in new OTA opportunities
- Liaise with Revenue Managers at CWR and BSH for regional consistency
- Review and address Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) notifications
- Review and adjust all rate code set ups for Corporate Campaigns for all hotels
- Generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for all properties as needed
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality is required
- Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems e.g. Opera PMS/ORS, Excel, Word, IDEAS G3, Avero, etc.
- Self-study and independent work ethics are required.
- Comfortable in discussion forums; able to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly.
- Team building skills and proven track record is essential.
- Previous revenue management experience is an asset
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints is crucial to the success of this individual.
- Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action are foremost attributes
