Support Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management decisions and ensure communication with the RM Team

Assist Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management projects, such as Restaurant RM & Spa RM

Maximize room revenue contribution with a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rates therein.

Support the CWMR Region in Revenue Management projects/tasks and coverage with annual vacations

Your experience and skills include:

Experience in human resources management, business administration, finance, research support, facilities, health and safety and operational management.

Experience working at a management level in a university and/or a health care setting.

Directs the strategic planning and management of human resource activities in the Department ensuring equity and compliance with employment agreements;

Exercises considerable judgment and decision making in department operations, resource allocation and human resource management

Oversees event organization and management and related costs

Liaises with FoM Finance staff and other UBC finance personnel

Follows up with the management team regarding due dates for various tasks.

Post-secondary diploma or degree, preferably in Business Administration, or a combination of relevant education and/or experience is preferred.

Knowledge and relevant experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.

Accounting software (ex: QuickBooks, Xero and Sage 50) knowledge considered an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude to provide great service to busy leaders.

Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar and punctuation and ability to write and format moderately complex correspondence.

Develops and oversees policies and procedures related to financial management

Assesses requirements and establishes priorities for purchase or upgrade of departmental equipment and manages inventory

Manages the Linguistics Department budget of $4.5 million including GPOF, Fee for Service, and Specific Purpose,

Directs and oversees reconciliation of monthly and annual statements, payroll and benefit statements; investigates and reports on anomalies and errors.

Manages unionized and non-unionized staff, additional short-term hires and Graduate Teaching Assistants

Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in People Management, either through direct reports or cross-functional teams.

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage partnerships effectively.

Possess a post-secondary degree in Business/Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Marketing

Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic growth/sales, business development, marketing, or a related field.

Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.

5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a SaaS company, or experience in investment banking or management consulting

Analyze monthly and quarterly revenue performance, and provide insights to executive management on variances to plan and prior forecast

Experience building complex financial models, extracting insights, and crafting executive-level communications

Experience analyzing large datasets, particularly bookings and customer data

Experience using software tools such as Tableau, Adaptive, Salesforce, and NetSuite.

Public company quarterly close and reporting experience

Our client is looking for a Revenue Manager for a 12–18-month assignment.
