We are currently looking for a Retail Programs Manager at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON


This position is responsible for all operational aspects of new vehicle sales incentive planning and implementation. Including researching market trends and forecasts in order to provide the sales department with data, research, and direction as it relates to the development of all new vehicle incentives. A big part of the role is the maintenance of the incentive budget, creation, management of competitive data and market research, completion of monthly segment shares, inventory analysis, and competitive sales support trends.


The Retail Programs Manager is the key contact for program development, discussion, and to secure necessary controller approvals in order to launch sales programs. This includes the creation, publication, maintenance of all sales bulletins and support files provided to Audi Canada staff, dealers and Audi Finance (VCCI).


This role is active in determining the competitive position of the Audi incentive offer in the ultra-competitive luxury vehicle market. It requires continuous Interaction with field staff, controllers, VCCI, third party vendors, AUDI Germany (AG), and senior Audi Canada management to disseminate market, costing information crucial to making incentive budget and sales program decisions that allow Audi Canada to achieve their sales volume and market share targets.


**This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in office**


Primary Responsibilities


  • Liaise with Area General Managers in development or review of offers presented in individual markets or through DAGs.Ensure consistency with approved programs and legal requirements.
  • Identify opportunities and risks for sales and incentives through detailed analysis and understanding of market conditions, forecast inventory positions and cost requirements for proposed actions.
  • Provide marketing and liaise directly with the agency managing website configurator, and payment estimator to ensure proper functionality and accuracy for program and special offers information for prospects on website.
  • Maintain new vehicles sales incentive budget in current year, prepare planning rounds and review monthly Incentive budget inventory forecasts with Controlling.
  • Create sales support programs and related bulletins ensuring effective and timely communication to Area Sales teams and Dealers.
  • Develop and continually enhance efficiency of reporting (templates) and presentation by establishing repeatable and interchangeable formats.
  • Provide all required program information (rates, cash support, and other means) to Audi Finance to ensure Audi Finance Marketing bulletins are published on time and consistent with approved amounts with Audi Canada Controlling.
  • Create sales programs, associated bulletins, and monthly matrix to provide for translations ensuring on time distribution at program launch.
  • Recommend direction for new vehicle sales programs to Audi Canada Sales and Controlling using analysis of market conditions and competitive positions;
  • Ensure all information necessary to make thoroughly informed decisions about market conditions and resulting sales support strategy and volume planning is readily available
  • Lead as the subject matter expert on competitor programs and create/distribute competitive analysis reports to the sales team
  • Analysis of past programs, understanding of trends in incentive actions through model years as well as through model life cycle; Analysis of effectiveness of competitor incentive campaigns; Detailed cost comparisons for proposed programs vs. past programs and budget.
