This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. The successful candidate needs to be in either EST or Atlantic timezone.

Overall Project Management

• Oversee the project and manage execution to plan
• Participate in regular, internal and external project management meetings
• Post Go Live Project Support for issue resolution
• Manage the delivery of the requirements per the SOW/contract
• Perform financial analysis throughout the project life cycle
• Handle internal and external project status reporting
• Ensure good cooperation with team members and with other teams
• Manage to project scope on time and on budget
• Being available to travel to customer
• Run client kick-off, planning and design meetings

Implementation Of Projects

• Oversee Configuration progress, all Test phases, Deployment, and Post Go-Live support
• Acts as the primary client contact representing the company during the project
• Manage Project Escalations both internally and externally
• Review functional / technical specifications and gain approval from the customer
• Seek additional opportunities and managing Project Change requests to ensure Project Scope is maintained
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Assist with Pre-Sales workshops and assisting with the creation of Statement of Work documents
• Oversee execution of the multiple solution implementation work streams; and at times run parts of the execution
• Maintain Project Plans and Project Budgets

Continuous Improvement And Knowledge Management

• Document lessons learn and communicate internally
• Support global knowledge program and cross team knowledge sharing and enablement
• Collaborate with other teams: commercial, technical and support teams
• Contribute to other best practice and improvement projects as assigned by management
• Contribute to enhancement of delivery processes and value based services offering

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5+ years of customer-facing work experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the utility industry
• Strong experience in leading and delivering enterprise technology projects
• Operational, technical, marketing, and management skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% in North America, including Canada & US (A valid passport or travel visa is required)
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and excellent problem-solving ability

What Would Make You Standout

• PMP / PMBOK certification
• Previous experience with utility industry-specific projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a Technology-related field
