Quality Control Lead (Cwb Level Ii) - Cochrane, Ab

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control to support our upcoming projects.
Reporting the to Quality Manager and Quality Lead, this position will be reponsible for the following:

• Turnover binder progressive development, review and completion.
• Pipe spool fabrication inspection.
• Hydrotest package review and test witnessing.
• Insulation installation monitoring and inspection.
• Final piping reinstatement inspection and witnessing applicable bolt torque.
• Coordinate, monitor and Review NDT and reporting.
• Material receiving inspection and verification.
• Verifying all NDT completion releasing the piping for hydro test.
• Flange face inspection.
• Monitoring welding and carrying out final weld visual inspection.
• Experience with weld mapping and as-built drawings.
• Read piping isometrics, GA's and PID's.
• Maintaining welder qualification record.
• Develop discipline ITPs and ensure stages followed.

Requirements

• CWB Level 1 or 2 certification with 5+ years of work related experience.
• Must be able to climb scaffolding, access trenches and work in variable weather conditions.
• Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office and Google Docs
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle a multitude of concurrent tasks.
• Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work in a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
• Fabrication shop or field construction experience is required.

Experience

• Welding inspection: 1 years (Preferred)
• Brown field experience (Preferred)
• Civil and Electrical experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of ASME, ABSA, and CSA codes and client standards structure.
• Fab. shop and mod yard or plant site: 2 years (Required)
