Quality Control - Produce

We are looking for experienced individuals with direct experience in the quality control of fruits and vegetables. The pay is very competitive at $22 to $24 an hour.
The role is based in a new warehouse with fantastic facilities; the company specializes in the distribution of fresh produce.
The shift is on the afternoon schedule, starting from 2:30 pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends (if needed).

Responsibilities

• Organizing stock, and moving it around the warehouse
• Ensuring that hygiene and uniform standards are met
• Inspection of all fresh produce (food analysis, temperature check, pressure test, and guiding the team)
• Assisting the manager as required
• Quality Control of all fresh produce (checking the firmness, grade, and sugar levels of fruit)

Qualifications

• You need at least 1-year warehouse experience of working with fresh produce, which includes quality checking, either in

a warehouse or in a store environment

• Candidate must be familiar with HACCP system, CCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Must be able to work comfortably in a cool environment
• You must be able to lift up to 50lbs
