Quality Control Jobs

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standard of quality and food safety in the production of various food products? To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of food production processes. You will also be able to work closely with the production and quality assurance departments to ensure the products meet the highest standard and comply with all current regulations.

Compensation & Hours

• Rotating shifts (must be able to work days and night shifts)
• The rate of pay will be $28/hr.

Position Summary

• Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to analyze product samples and verify their adherence to specifications and provide feedback for continuous process improvement
• Perform in-process checks during production to identify and rectify any deviations from quality control procedures
• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, production equipment, and finished product to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Utilize various quality testing methods and equipment to analyze product samples
• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and quality control procedures and identify areas for enhancement
• Document and maintain detailed records of all quality control activities and results, maintaining traceability and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to safely stand, bend, twist for long periods of time.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Understanding of Food Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing Practice
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs. +
• Experience in a similar QC or QA role

Bonus Points For

• Education in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or other related field
