Reporting to the Quality Director, the QA/QC Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and ensuring the effective operation of the Project Quality Program, and will also perform site inspections to ensure that activities comply with the project specifications.
What You Will Be Working On

• Ensuring all relevant quality records (QC checklist, material cert’s, inspection reports, test reports, internal audit reports, etc.) are obtained, completed, reviewed, and submitted to the Client as required by the Specifications
• Report non-conformances and deficiencies and assist in their resolution, including documentation and verification, as requested
• Provide weekly and monthly summary reports on testing and inspection results
• Review and approve quality documentation from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Schedule testing and inspection services in coordination with the field personnel and trade partners
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Work collaboratively with the project team and trade partners in the implementation of the Project Quality Plan.
• Ensure compliance to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and maintain the supporting documentation.
• Inspect field conditions and identify risks and cost saving opportunities.
• Perform regular inspections as the work progresses, including hold points

What We Are Looking For

• Understanding of Jurisdictional Authority of requirements
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive, and creative
• Competent knowledge in CSA Codes and Industry Standards
• 3+ years of direct construction experience
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, or related discipline. Preferably registered as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
