SNC-Lavalin’s Project Delivery team in Canada is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Project & Process Analyst. You will be part of a team that is responsible for future state process analysis, documentation, solution design, implementation, and training/communication of process initiatives for Engineering Services in align with corporate global business practices.
In addition, you will be responsible for streamlining, simplifying, and improving end-to-end processes including but not limited to project management, project controls, and design management, driving a continuous improvement culture, with systems and tools to drive efficiency and improve a user experience.
The role will be based in Montreal or Vancouver or Calgary or Toronto.
Your role within the team

• Coordinate with subject matter experts across organisations for creation of appropriate task forces to create and update procedures and work instructions.
• Support proposals and projects to identify project needs (e.g., software, systems, tools, including awareness of digital transformation initiatives).
• Evaluate intra-departmental processes to synchronise and automate where possible.
• Enhance process methodologies and process tools (i.e., automating systems).
• Identify, create, and participate in the implementation of business processes.
• Provide strategic leadership around initiatives focused on the business processes.
• Maintain and refresh a process site as a self-service knowledge base to educate teams and allow ready access to SOPs, process maps, etc.
• Improve the skillsets of project teams by providing work instructions and training materials.
• Work with Quality Team to ensure the alignment with the business systems (e.g., SMS).
• Facilitate conversation around business processes, supporting team members across the business, through continual improvement concepts, projects, and methodologies.
• Evaluate and develop business process diagrams and choice matrices to support process design.
• Act as a change agent to ensure principles are utilized consistently across organizations.
• Evaluate process issues and develop and implement targeted process opportunities.

The ideal candidate

• Experience with CRM, EBS, Agile Point, SAP-BO, Unifier, Smartsheet an asset.
• Demonstrable applied knowledge of business processes.
• Strong logical and client-focused process problem solving experience.
• Project Management experience an asset.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, engineering, or similar.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multi-scale projects from inception through completion.
• Experience working cross-functionally with departments such as Finance, IT, Legal, Win Work, etc.
• PMI-PBA, IIBA or PMI-PMP or APM certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of fundamentals and methodologies of change management.
• French an asset.
• Experience with Cloud-based Systems, SharePoint essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating a good team player and ability to operate on one’s own.
• Ability to work in fast paced, fast changing environment.
• Solid business insight, with a strong familiarity of business processes and the project lifecycle.
• Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and shape work, progress, and processes without ownership or control.
• Strong, professional work ethic.
• 5+ years of business process and/or business operation experience.
• Proven experience working in a global and multi-cultural work environment.
