Job Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Sales Operations Process/Systems Improvement Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be a key leader in the Revenue Operations organization, bringing deep, hands-on experience in Sales Process Excellence, Sales Technology, and Sales Operations leadership to help us drive scalable growth in the go-to-market organization.
What You’ll Do
  • Independently lead Sales Process and Technology Optimization projects
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to support end-user training and communications
  • Translate technology solutions into Salesforce business requirements and work with IT to develop, test, and deploy solutions
  • Help define Sales excellence best practices in the Sales Organization
  • Partner with leaders from the Sales organization to solve business problems with process and technology enhancements
  • Provide escalation support for the tier one Sales Support team
  • Provide reporting and data analysis support for Sales Leadership
  • Be a stakeholder in and support the annual sales planning process
  • Provide deep Salesforce.com expertise
  • Support Salesforce data cleansing activities
  • Be the expert on the intersection between sales process, sales tools, and Salesforce
  • Interact with Sr. Executives on critical business initiatives
What You’ll Need To Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
  • Highly knowledgeable in Marketing and Sales processes best practices
  • Experience leading process optimization projects from conception through value realization
  • Highly skilled and knowledgeable in Salesforce.com Sales Cloud functional design and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Marketing, Sales, or Business
  • We proudly support and encourage people with military experience, as well as military spouses, to apply
  • Experience leading Sales Technology projects and an understanding of the SDLC process
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Revenue Operations
  • Executive Presence and ability to work with VP+ stakeholders independently
Additionally, You May Have
  • Sales Cloud Administrator Certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience and knowledge of these platforms:
  • Marketo
  • Incentive Compensation Management software (Spiff, Xactly, etc.)
  • Salesforce CPQ
  • BI Platforms (Tableau, Powerbi, etc.)
  • Telephony/CTI (Sales Dialer, Genesys, etc.)
