About our global client

Our client manages various grants and contributions for international projects. This project offers funding opportunities for various sectors and initiatives that promote international cooperation and development. One of the goals of the endeavour is to transform the current financial system by replacing and automating outdated technology and streamlining business processes. We have a client that has identified several RPA opportunities across corporate services and requires additional RPA professional service resources to augment existing project delivery capacity. The additional RPA project delivery capacity will enable the client to implement process efficiencies and improve service delivery. The client has already been using Blue Prism (RPA software) to automate processes in financial planning and management but would like to augment their own RPA service delivery capacity and expand its capability in this space.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager/Business Consultant to help with the planning, development, implementation, and deployment of RPA capabilities. The resource will be required on an as-and-when-requested basis through task authorizations.

Responsibilities

Minimum of 5 years of current demonstrable experience in an IM/IT environment performing the following:

• Review internal controls and identify opportunities for enhancement based on RPA best practice;
• Develop training strategies and plans and also deliver training to employees.
• Use business, workflow and organizational tools.
• Implement and advise on risk mitigating measure.
• Collect and analyze information and present findings on complex issues.
• Perform analysis of business processes to recommend the best option to address any concerns, gaps, etc. including the potential risks and benefits;
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Make recommendations, provide advice for improvements, assist in the development of solutions and implement the recommendations.
• Map existing processes; and develop and map recommended new processes and changes.
• Provide input for the development of new processes;
• Consult stakeholders (individually or by means of facilitating group sessions) to identify comprehensive business requirements.
• Craft business process improvement documents.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years, in digital transformation related to financial or corporate services modernization and has experience conducting process analysis and change management activities in preparation for RPA.
• Analyze and define business processes related to both "As Is" and "To Be" status.
• Participate in the development of an RPA solution.
• Identify and research best practices from other government departments and agencies in the implementation of RPA capability.
• Perform Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis.
• Coach/train the employees on new RPA business processes.
• Define, develop and implement change management strategies and plans.
• Contribute to building out the client’s RPA Center of Excellence.
• Assist in the prioritization and assignment of organizational business process improvement.
• Carry out or coordinate research as required and prepare reports.
• Develop and implement communication strategies and plans (change management); and

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different people and departments.
• Comfort blending waterfall and agile for flexibility in developing a thorough project plan strategy
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. This includes the ability to finesse and provide business rationale when and push-back if necessary when managing multiple stakeholders with multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and keep track of all deadlines.

Preference will be given to candidates that:

• Have demonstrable experience related to diversity (either as part of background or project)
• Has experience within government (US/CAN federal or provincial) IM/IT projects.
• Have worked on financial systems automation (custom dev or enterprise)
• Active Canadian Enhanced+ security clearance
