About The Role
As the Lead Project Manager you will lead on planning, initiation, and management of a variety of projects. The role will proactively resolve project management issues in relation to cost, scope, timelines and quality where necessary. You will lead and manage a team of project managers and provide guidance and support to direct reports and teams with regards to project management activities. The Lead Project Manager will also act as a conduit between the delivery team and the client to ensure successful completion of work for all parties.

About The Role
As the Lead Project Manager you will lead on planning, initiation, and management of a variety of projects. The role will proactively resolve project management issues in relation to cost, scope, timelines and quality where necessary. You will lead and manage a team of project managers and provide guidance and support to direct reports and teams with regards to project management activities. The Lead Project Manager will also act as a conduit between the delivery team and the client to ensure successful completion of work for all parties.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivery Programme reports to the Head of Consulting on all projects regarding overall status and budgets
- Track invoicing status of projects
- Develop the communication strategy for the organisation
- Develop strategies for researching and obtaining information that is difficult to collect
- Manage, control and monitor the nature of project information and communication directives
- Provide guidance on the translation of the strategic goals of multiple projects into tactical and operational objectives
- Identify resourcing needs to effectively support current initiatives, services and offerings
- Delegate authority to match responsibility and hold the team accountable for agreed upon commitments
- Plan, allocate, and mobilise resources (human, physical, information and financial resources) to achieve organisational goals and ensure the efficient and appropriate use of resources
- Address gaps in team expertise and skill set
- Manage large (budget or scope), highly complex (functionality, specs, stakeholders), diverse or strategic projects that impact the organization, or a client as a whole
- Manage, coach and mentor a team of project managers
- Communicate expectations and objectives of resource usage, providing ongoing feedback, and addressing shortcomings
- Advise senior management on organization-wide quality issues and challenges
- Develop corporate policies and standards for project management and delivery
- Develop organization-wide plans to solve issues of quality
- Support employee in taking independent action, providing coaching along the way
- Capable of self-organizing and prioritizing personal workload
- Previous experience in a designated team lead or people management role
- Ensure effective management of scope, resources, time, cost, quality, risk and ability to plan, allocate, and mobilize resources
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor communication style to stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills working with clients and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing skills, interacting appropriately with technical and business resources
- Apply formal project management principles and practices during the planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of the project
- Demonstrable experience managing change in a technical environment
- Project Management qualification
- Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth Tech start-up environment
- Strong domain knowledge of the tools suite Adaptavist currently offers
