Our client is a well-established Design Build and Construction Management firm focused on challenging commercial construction projects. Over the past 30 years our client has been responsible for the success of some of the most prestigious projects in the city and they employ a collaborative, client-focused construction methodology.
They are seeking an organized, technically focused, personable Project Coordinator with a desire to excel. We are looking for an individual who is excited to be working in the field of construction and who is consistently one of the first people at work. Our ideal candidate is one who takes initiative and is very comfortable working independently but is looking to work collaboratively and learn on the job with an experienced Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities Of The Role Include The Following
  • Assist with all communication with project stakeholders including subtrades, consultants and clients
  • Generate and log Purchase Orders, RFIs, CORs etc.
  • Attend project meetings; take minutes and distribute with efficiency
  • Work with Project Manager to correctly process shop drawings and other project and closeout documents
  • Prepare, generate various documents for and maintain project files
  • Prepare documentation from start to finish taking ownership and implementing measures to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare invoice and progress draw to the issued in conjunction with Project Manager
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills are required.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • A degree or a diploma in a construction related discipline.
  • At least two years of experience as a Project Coordinator
