Project Coordinator Jobs

PAL Aerospace is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, heavy maintenance checks and modifications. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.

PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Project Coordinator position in our St. John's, NL base. This is a fixed-term position.

The Project Coordinator will:

• Ensure success of projects through the timely coordination of project events and communications
• Plan, schedule and manage tasks at various steps in the program/project
• Provide the necessary project oversight to ensure all deliverables are well coordinated and completed within the assigned target dates
• Report to management and Project Managers on coordination activities
• Assist the Project Managers with internal and external communications
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide project administrative support as required
• Assist in monitoring and reporting status of project, progress against major milestones and assists with preventive/corrective action to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with project control using MS Project and Excel
• Assist project reporting to senior management using Business analyst tools.
• Review forecast for projects with Program Management

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain filing systems, databases, and basic diary/minutes management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of project management tools is preferred
• Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Business or project management certification, or a combination of education and experience
