The Opportunity


A leader in the Label Manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee and guide its production operations.


Position Description


The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership within the print environment, combined with the proven ability to guide and nurture a diverse team of print press operators and print production personnel.


The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. This includes managing a team of print press operators and production personnel, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.


The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced production setting, using their leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop their team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Implement operational policies and procedures to meet company standards and objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of print press operators and production personnel.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of all production processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Coordinate with other departmental managers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and report on production performance and progress.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor.


Experience


  • 5-10 years of experience within a Flexo print environment is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience within a plant supervisor or management role is required.
  • Experience working with print press operators and print production personnel.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong emphasis on coaching and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
