Product Owner- Scrum Leader

Our product owner function is growing and ready for an experienced professional to drive product delivery on time, on budget and in line with customer needs. The Product Owner will participate in sprint planning, roadmap development, feature grooming and daily sprint management. The candidate will work effectively in cross-functional teams and be committed to advancing a culture of innovation, commitment to customer success, and fun.

Responsibilities

• Perform any required project management tasks to assure timely delivery of product releases;
• Act as scrum leader to drive sprint results;
• Drive feature grooming and requirements gather processes;
• Track and report on sprint status and assure any roadblocks are escalated and addressed;
• Drive engineering’s understanding of customer needs, defects and feature requests;
• Own and administer the tool sets required for delivery (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git etc.) to assure optimal function and utilization of the tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with project management and software development
• A provide track record of working with software developers, product management and customer support teams to delivery projects and products on time
• Experience with storage, data protection and IT automation software and/or SaaS applications
• Bachelor’s degree required preferably in engineering
• Demonstrated passion for championing customer needs and maximizing customer value
• 5+ years of project management / scrum leader experience
