For Full-time Employees

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


Under the supervision of the Manager, E-Commerce, the incumbent is responsible for planning and executing the day-to-day operations of La Vie en Rose's e-commerce. They participate in the development of e-commerce strategies as well as the deployment of all changes and projects to maximize the sales potential of the website.



  • Keep abreast of e-commerce trends.
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans for the e-commerce.
  • Ensure good communication and cooperation with the various departments and teams.
  • Optimize the customer experience by ensuring continuous improvement of design, content, navigation, branding, performance, and functionality of the site.
  • Measure website performance on an ongoing basis to identify problems and opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Conduct regular and effective competitive reviews.
  • Work with the content strategy and creative teams to design the site's digital banners and other marketing initiatives while ensuring conformity with the La Vie en Rose brand.
  • Follow up on projects.
  • Be responsible for testing and quality control.
  • Coordinate all day-to-day activities, including the deployment of promotional campaigns, e-commerce, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Write and update briefs.
  • Ensure the implementation of and compliance with e-commerce best practices.
  • Plan and maintain the web calendar.


Requirements


  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (an asset ).
  • Good understanding of e-commerce best practices.
  • Organizational skills, autonomous and able to evolve in a changing environment.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • 2 years' relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual, both orally and in writing (French and English).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other performance analysis tools.
  • Thoroughness, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of digital media;
  • Experience with Optimizely (an asset ).
  • Experience in retail and/or fashion (an asset ).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO (an asset ).
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
