YOUR MISSION


Together with the Creative Director, you are responsible for developing and defining a project's strategy, i.e. its planning, organization and supervision, from conception to operation. You represent the project and manage client relations, as well as liaising between the client and the production team. You are responsible for delivering each stage of the project according to agreed criteria, within budget and on schedule. You control major risks, and advise teams by providing clear guidelines and recommendations. With strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, you are a constant presence throughout the project and a positive influencer. You know how to recommend the most effective approaches thanks to your production experience in the multimedia field.


YOUR TEAM


As a member of the MTL Culture and Education team, you'll be helping to integrate multimedia into new ways of learning. Your creativity will be put to good use in museums, cultural institutions, heritage sites and many others.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Participate in the standardization of tools and procedures between different producers
  • Manage customer relations, represent the project and promote the teams;
  • Assign tasks, delegate to delegated producers according to established strategy and available skills;
  • Identify, analyze and control potential project risks;
  • Act as an expert and positive influencer: assist, train and support within the scope of his/her knowledge and skills;
  • Develop and maintain a network in prescriptive professional sectors (architecture, design, landscape, urban planning, events, etc.);
  • Develop and define project strategy, planning, organization and supervision: service offer, contract, detailed budget, schedules, procedures and objectives;
  • Identify and analyze the skills available (resources, team, etc.) to carry out a project;
  • Validate feasibility and profitability of potential projects based on customer needs and technical information;
  • Plan and issue invoices and ensure payment follow-up with the customer;
  • Plan and organize project archiving during the project;
  • In collaboration with the legal department, prepare contractual and administrative documents related to the project and intended for the customer, in collaboration with the various internal stakeholders;
  • Prepare service offers and present them to potential and current customers
  • Supervise the progress of a project, ensuring its smooth running by providing advice and recommendations to the teams (techniques, objectives, performance, profitability, etc.);
  • Network and participate in professional activities in the target segment;
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers;
  • Participation in the development of business strategy and customer relations
  • Responsible for project management and delivery
  • Search for and identify the best suppliers with the participation of the procurement department, as well as the best internal resource for the project;
  • Develop project post-mortems in collaboration with teams;
  • Ensure that budgets are respected, carry out ongoing monitoring and communicate project progress;
  • Report high project risks to the General Manager;


Job Requirements


  • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously, to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Understanding of Moment Factory's business sectors and related issues;
  • Ability to anticipate international cultural trends and social phenomena, and to keep abreast of industry activities;
  • Advanced command of French and English, both oral and written;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of competition and available products;
  • More than 5 years' experience in a production or management position in a creative environment in the entertainment or multimedia industry, or in a related sector involving creative content and technology;
  • Understanding of design software, 3D design, editing, etc., an asset;
  • Undergraduate degree in management or in one of Moment Factory's fields of activity (multimedia environments, design, architecture, scenography, etc.);
  • Possess a broad general knowledge applicable to the fields of activity of the company's customers;
  • Good knowledge of the financial and legal contexts of projects: contracts, budgets, production costs, invoicing, tax credits, intellectual property, immigration laws, etc;
  • Good negotiation skills;
  • Good knowledge of each stage of production and basic knowledge of multimedia technology;
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, etc.);
