Role Description

This is a remote role for an Event Producer at Digital Transparency Lab, for a contract to start with an event weekend on Sept 22 -24 in Montreal.

The Event Assistant Producer, will help to effectively coordinate a successful events from start to finish, ensuring we meet their strategic goals executed to the highest standards.

They will oversee location/video presentation logistics, planning, budgeting, staffing, and communication with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating and producing successful events from start to finish
• Experience in budgeting and tracking expenses
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organisational and management skills.
• Experience in using project management and collaboration tools such as Signal, Trello, and Slack.

Relevant education or experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and production.
• With additional events planned up the success of Sept 22 launch
• Looking for someone that can hustle to get this event together asap in Montreal,

Additional qualifications a plus, e.g.

• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Public Relations or a relevant field
