Privacy Analyst (4055) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Privacy Analyst to help our client with the design and delivery of digital health tools and platforms to support the ongoing evolution of a connected health system and digitally enabled health care. This position will lead establishment of all privacy documentation required to support the platform’s many complex privacy considerations, including integrations to/from private practice EMRs, provincial registries, and clinical informatics systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of submission/amendments to new/existing Information Sharing Agreements and Privacy Information Assessments
• Liaise with the Policy team to identify any policy gaps or issues requiring remediation
• Liaise with security team members to answer privacy-related questions
• Work with the team in privacy reviews and/or audits
• Lead the documentation of the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) across multiple product releases: Each release will consist of new data/flow considerations for PIA consideration and approval
• Participate in regular team events (planning, team updates, and similar)
• Draft or review the privacy considerations for the End User Participation Agreement for the product
• Act as a Privacy Subject Matter Expert for the team

Requirements:

• Experience advising and documenting privacy governance within the BC Health Sector
• Active and current certifications in Health Privacy Compliance (HIPAA, HCPC, et al)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with EMRs, provincial registries and clinical informatics systems is preferred
