Planner - Abitibi Region

The Planner will be responsible for the seamless workflow of daily operations, in an organized and timely manner. They ensure employees are trained and follow all policies and procedures assigned, deliver excellent service and build/develop lasting relationships with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure service reports are attached and in order when requesting work orders to be closed.
• Assist & Mentor Technicians
• Updating SRFs as required.
• Direct calls from customers to the appropriate technical service advisor.
• Assist and work with manager and supervisors in reducing WIP
• Assist in ordering parts and shipping to customer sites.
• Establish a working relationship with customers / fellow employees
• Request set-up in M3 and monitor for new hires
• Opening service requests (SRF).
• Assist in creating project schedules and updating according to progress
• Assist and work with manager and supervisors in completing quotes for products and services for internal and external customers
• Assist with internal tracking of PSD service clothing and required tools.
• Complete HR and H&S orientation duties with new hires
• Manage PSD policies and procedures including service request and reports etc.
• Assist manager and supervisors with daily duties.
• Help with internal documentation of training.
• Understand and help manage the employee related cost section of the service variance
• Review flight costs and ensure they are allocated to the correct work orders

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years’ experience as a Service Technician or equivalent

INTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Epiroc Service Protocols and procedures
• A team player able to work well with & provide support/assistance to all departments within Epiroc.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong knowledge of Epiroc Products
• A proven Self Starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Additional tasks and duties may be required
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes,
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
