Reporting to, and under the direction of the Supervisor of Corridor Management, the Part-Time Clerk (Operations) is responsible for providing administrative and communications support to the Operational Services Staff, including, but not limited to:

  • Responding to telephone and email inquiries/concerns from the general public and other members of staff in a courteous manner;
  • Compiling of statistical information;
  • Two-way radio dispatch;
  • Providing excellent customer service;
  • Accurate record keeping;
  • Preparation of correspondence;
  • Other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.

  • Filing; and,

You love to research and analyze problems: identifying, gathering and processing relevant information to determine possible solutions, evaluate them and make recommendations. What You Bring To Our Team

The successful applicant must possess:

  • A minimum of eighteen (18) months of related administrative experience;
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), at an intermediate level; and
  • Excellent keyboarding skills; with the ability to manage multiple phone lines, while ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • A post-secondary school graduation diploma in Office Administration, or related discipline;
  • A thorough understanding of municipal government functions and responsibilities;

What We Offer You

  • Salary: $21.75 - $24.22 per hour (Band C)*

Hours: Flex hours, Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., up to a maximum of twenty four (24) hours per week.
