Job Title

Officer, Consolidated and Specialized Reporting

What is the opportunity?

• National accountability to produce various estate and trust accounting reports as per provincial guidelines (Court Passings, Curatorship, Committeeship) and consolidated account reporting
• Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting systems and analytical tools used by National Office initiatives
• Ad hoc National Office support as well as support where required by Head, National Initiatives & Business Services

What will you do?

• Identify opportunities for improved process efficiencies around report creation
• Assist with producing consolidated account reports formatted to meet regulatory guidelines
• Responsible for the manual preparation of trust and estate accounts including court passing reports with partnership accounts

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• Previous financial services experience preferable
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge of estate and trust services
• Knowledge of estate accounting practices
• High degree of PC literacy and fully proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

Nice to Have

• Law clerk/estate law experience
• General knowledge of custody solutions, investments, financial planning, counselling and taxation issues
• Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
