Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Network Firewall Specialist with Palo Alto, dynamic routing, and OSPF and BGP experience to place at our client, a leader in the Utility industry. We have personally qualified the requirement with the hiring manager.

:

• Analyze existing firewall and packet forwarding rules for possible conflicts
• Implement new IP Schema
• Implementation planning for Palo Alto HA migration
• Removal of existing Static routes were feasible and replace with dynamic protocols
• Will oversee the migration from Static routing to Dynamic routing in our environment
• Writing documentation detailing zones and configuration
• Creation of OSPF and BGP zones
• Assess Palo Alto Active and Clustering options for best alternative to existing Active Passive
• Assist with migration of existing hardware to new IP Schema

Must Haves:

• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to complete tasks
• Active Active cluster configuration experience
• Significant experience working with Palo Alto
