Media Data Strategy Associate - 9 Month Contract

Our client, a major player in the consumer goods space, is looking for an eager and determined data strategy associate with a marketing/media background to join their team in Markham for a minimum of 9 months!

Key Duties and Responsibilities Includes:

• Employ data from syndicated planning tools to derive insights that complement brand marketing strategies & objectives.
• Cooperate extensively with the Analytics team and Agency media planner to align plan inputs with digital campaigns and ensure they are constructed and executed in line with brand plans and media best practices
• Transform brand requirements into strategic media plans that fulfill set goals, directing comprehensive media planning for a variety of brands across multiple channels like Social, Programmatic, Audio and Streaming TV
• Cultivate proficiency in a broad range of data and tools used for analysis.
• Develop audiences using audience tools and 1st party data to reach core brand audiences

Essential Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in strategic media planning, ideally with a multichannel national advertising client.
• Agency experience.
• Experience in using DMP, CDP and Clean Room environments.
• Familiarity with media platforms like DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, Facebook Business Manager, TikTok, Pinterest & more
• An undergraduate degree in a field relevant to the role (statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing).

This individual will need to have a solid background in analytics: Ability to draw connections between data, brand objectives, and opportunities.

Excellent stakeholder and priority management skills, balancing both immediate and long-term needs and implications.
