The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in

setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, housekeeping, and in fabricating parts and tools for plant improvements and upgrades. This role is located at the St Marys Cement plant in St Marys, Ontario.

Education, Experience And Skill Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma, university degree or equivalent in related field, plus three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; 433A Trade certificate is considered an asset; has experience working and supervising in a union environment; has a strong desire to lead a team and mentor their development; has the ability to document and follow procedures; is a constructive thinker and can analyze, interpret and evaluate situations; can withstand the physicality of sitting, standing, walking or working in awkward or confined, restricted places and outside conditions; has the ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats; and is comfortable using Microsoft Office, SAP, Kronos and other computer software.
