As ATB's next Managing Director of Card Products will be accountable to lead ATB's portfolio of Credit Cards, Prepaid Cards, Debit Cards, Rewards, Inclusive Card Coverages and Acquiring business. The role of the Managing Director is to lead and guide the product management lifecycle, portfolio manage the suite of solutions, provide oversight for both Regulatory and Risk, manage and forecast the PnL, manage relationships with vendors and is ATB's key representative within payment networks, maintaining and advancing our industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of brand and marketing activities that support the portfolio for both lifecycle activities and acquisition strategies.
• Be the primary industry relations lead representing ATB; including detailed understanding of rules, government and network regulations, industry mandates, insurance and reward benefits.
• Lead contract negotiations with network and external partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Steward, forecast and manage the PnL for the holistic issuing and acquiring cards portfolios on behalf of both consumer and business partners.
• Develop product managers capabilities through leadership training, product knowledge, problem solving, financial acumen, customer engagements, expert advice, metrics and insights.
• Lead the team of product managers in order to ensure the product suite is competitive, understood by team members, supported by operations and ATB's customers are satisfied with the solutions.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to ATB related to issuing and acquiring.
• Lead product management and development via coordination with research, network relationships, legal, compliance, risk, procurement, finance, AOE partners and marketing teams.

Requirements

• MBA and/or Finance degree
• 10 years of experience within the payment card industry
• 5+ years product leadership experience
• Technical understanding of payments, system behaviours and opportunities.
• Proven ability in leading teams within a large cross functional organization, building strong internal relationships, and collaborating to achieve results
