What We Are Hiring For

We are currently looking for a Manager of Support to join our leadership team.

As a Manager with LCDS, you will provide vision, direction and support to employees who support people with developmental disabilities and ensure high quality services that are person-centered and directed by the person. You will lead, supervise and coordinate the operations of one or more support services in accordance with LCDS policies and procedures.

What You Will Need

• Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• NVCPI Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Documentation of COVID-19 Vaccination
• Knowledge and understanding of legislation and theories related to the developmental sector including MCCSS Journey to Belonging, employment standards and management theories
• Valid "G" class license and reliable vehicle
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Basic to intermediate computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and documentation software
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in social or health sciences
• Post-graduate education or training related to leadership an asset
• 5+ years progressive evidence of growth in leadership core competencies and roles within Developmental Services or a related sector

Compensation And Scheduling

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• $70,553.60 per year
• Generally Monday to Friday with on-call as scheduled
