Baci Ristorante, located in the Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen’s is a modern and upbeat Italian restaurant. Baci Ristorante has an open style kitchen and central wood burning oven which provides an intimate gathering place for guests and patrons. YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Other duties as required
• Learn the details of various menu options on offer
• Get to know our guests; be able to comfortably answer any questions they may have
• Responsible for the health and safety of the front of house restaurant team as required
• Coach and lead our team members to ensure their receive great training & support
• Managing team member relations including, recruitment, training, coaching and recognition
• Maintain the POS system as required
• Exercise good judgment and problem solving abilities.
• Ensure compliance with food & safety standards as well as AGCO legislation
• Oversee guest reservations, supporting increasing guest bookings
• Drive positive change in the organization.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their selections and service, be attentive to their needs
• Assist with executing private events including working with the internal team on innovative experiences for the guests

YOU HAVE:

• Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
• Experience using Microsoft Suite, Open Table and POS systems (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Post-secondary education preferably in hospitality considered an asset
• 1-2 years’ in the restaurant industry in a supervisor capacity required
• Smart Serve certified
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food & beverage
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail & time management skills
