The Opportunity:

The Logistics Coordinator is in charge of maintaining all processes required for ordering and delivery of the raw materials from Domestic and International Suppliers. Manage and oversee all documentation as per BRC requirements. Works closely with QA Coordinator on the introduction of new Vendors. Monitors shipping supplies and schedule on-site deliveries accordingly.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Maintain all raw materials receiving checklist and verify with receipts with drivers and 3rd party brokers and vendors
• Release PO's from Master Scheduler
• Check Bill of Lading (BOL) received vs. shipping dates daily and follow up with the Vendors for all unshipped loads
• Provides the information about new Vendor to QA Coordinator
• Provide feedback regarding volume of Raw Materials to Operations and Production team.
• Create Purchase Orders (PO) in the system and send the orders to Vendors

Key Qualifications & Competencies:

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain, Warehousing and our Shipping / Receiving
• Ability to work with minimum Supervision
• High Attention to detail and Customer Service focused Attitude
• Willingness to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and work well with a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Post Secondary Degree or Diploma preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central (BC) system would be an asset
