Job Description

Equium Group is looking to hire a Licensed Condominium Property Manager to join our growing Team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of an assigned condominium portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance requests to ensure they meet budgetary and operational expectations.
  • Assist in overseeing various operational expenditure and capital projects.
  • Assist with the development and oversight of annual operating and capital budget forecasts.
  • Assist with the management of properties in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and operations within senior management approved annual budgets.
  • Working with building staff and relevant stakeholders to ensure the standards of the clients, owners and tenants are met.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including operational budgets, capital projects and financial performance of the property.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts, sourcing vendors and contractors.
  • Performing and documenting property inspections, priority reports, variance reports, and quarterly re-forecasts.
  • Embrace and pro-actively support Equium Group's culture of environmental sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and payment processing.
  • Ensuring contracts and agreements are performed according to terms and conditions, while adhering to all applicable legislation.
  • Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and obtain information on applicable costs to engage contractors and purchase services.
  • Managing multiple tasks/projects and meet tight deadlines.


Qualifications

  • Currently licensed or working towards RECA licensing;
  • Working knowledge of Yardi preferred;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the condominium management industry including residential and/or commercial required;
  • Management of competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Alberta's Driver's License;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited university (preferred);
  • Strong written and oral communication;
  • Working knowledge of Excel is required;
