About You
- Manage space reconfigurations with Property Management as part of the Yardi Voyager entries
- Accurately and timely abstract all fully executed lease and ancillary documents into Yardi Voyager
- Knowledge and understanding of basic lease accounting and finance principles as well as familiarity with their impact and application in commercial real estate analysis
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of lease admin processing policies and procedures
- Point-person for lease entry related questions
- Special projects as may arise
- Proficiency in PC based software, especially MS Excel and Word, Yardi Voyager
- Prepare recurring charges report for Property Manager review
- Assist with recording of financial related to rent relief programs
- Maintain the tenant database in Yardi Voyager
- Post Secondary education and/or experience in a corporate setting
- Post recurring charges to tenant accounts
- Provide a high level of attention to detail for reliable accuracy
- Five (5) years related experience in commercial real estate is an asset
- Assist with the setup of new properties on Yardi Voyager
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate documents and the leasing process
- Oversee and coordinate monthly expiries/terminations and holdover process
- Ability to multi-task, pro-actively prioritize and manage workload, and finalize projects
- Consistently demonstrate excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills
- Assist in developing and coordinating Yardi training for existing employees and on-boarding new employees into the platform
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a strong customer service attitude
- Experience in Property Management and Lease Administration an asset
- Work with other 3rd party software and service providers to create automated data import/exports
- Ability to think independently and analytically and make recommendations based on observations.
- Performs additional duties or tasks as assigned by the Application Support Team
- Other duties as required
- Troubleshoot technical and data entry problems
- Must have good time management and critical thinking skills
- Recommend, test and implement Yardi features, modules, plug-ins, enhancements, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years’ expert knowledge of Yardi Voyager Core as well as Commercial module; knowledge of SQL Server database and queries
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Create custom SQL reports, correspondence, and reporting packages as needed for accounting and property management
- Assist with Yardi conversions for new property acquisitions and set-ups
- Perform Yardi Voyager system admin tasks such as account maintenance, role and permissions, password resets
- Focus on advanced requests and incidents requiring a deeper level of knowledge
- Create Yardi custom analytics based on user requests and manage work-flows
- Maintain and develop custom Yardi work-flows and menu sets
- Identify needs and develop programmatic solutions for Yardi users
- Prepare recurring charges report for Property Manager review
