Adecco invites you to seize this exciting chance as a full-time Land Advisor, working on a long-term contract at one of Canada's largest petroleum refiners in Calgary, AB. In this influential role, you will play a vital part in stewarding, administering, and monetizing Upstream subsurface rights, ensuring the delivery and protection of value while mitigating risk across the asset life cycle. We are seeking a self-motivated and resourceful individual who thrives on negotiating contracts and managing external relationships. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as we value a candidate who can think creatively and challenge the status quo.

- Manage and coordinate contract personnel (field & in-house)
- Acquire, trade, monetize or divest asset rights to deliver value
- Analyze, manage and steward contracts, as needed (e.g., acreage and risk management, and compliance)
- Develop, negotiate and execute new commercial agreements (e.g., leases and right-of-ways), obtaining all functional alignment, as required
- Develop, prioritize and recommend commercial concepts/structures for the acquisition and/or monetization of a business opportunity for new and existing assets
- Manage and sustain external relationships relevant to own portfolio (e.g., government officials, land owners, service providers and partners)
- Shifts: Monday - Friday
- Proficient in commercial negotiation, influence, and internal and external relationship management.
- Provide litigation support Requirements and Qualifications:
- Negotiate and manage claim/dispute mitigation and resolution
- Acquire and obtain access/lease, steward, monetize and/or divest surface and/or subsurface rights to deliver/protect value and mitigate risk across the asset life cycle,

- Coordinate and/or determine land ownership, evaluate risks, and cure title defects
- Knowledge and experience with title, court house, alignment sheets, easement and acquisition documents is a must
