We are sourcing a contract - Land Analyst, Contract & Mineral to join the team. This position reports to the Supervisor, Land A&D and Third Parties in the Land Department part of External Affairs Service Unit. Contract term duration will be dependent on candidate preference and experience/qualifications. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, and is fully aligned with our values:

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace;
• Administration of mineral leases and contract agreements;
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain strong business relationships;
• Coordinate lease expiries, continuations, validations and surrenders;
• Setup, maintain and terminate Crown and Freehold lease records
• Process Notice of Assignments and Assignment & Novation Agreements;
• Maintain Land Management Standards;
• Develop, implement and enforce the applicable policies and procedures;
• Provide required reporting and audit support;

Qualifications

• Completion of a Petroleum Land Administration Certificate or equivalent experience;
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritize projects; work under pressure while completing documentation within timelines;
• Working knowledge and understanding of CS Explorer, Enerlink, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, AbaData, Alberta Energy ETS;
• Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to apply sound business judgment; and
• 10+ years of contract and mineral land administration experience;
• A team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and provide quality of service;
• The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary, Alberta.
