Laboratory Research Coord Jobs

Responsible to the Director of Laboratory Operations, the Laboratory Research Coordinator will act in accordance with the mission, vision, values and goals of the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) and the Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. Responsible for the coordination, planning, implementation, SOP creation and billing for research initiatives across all sites within the HRLMP. Provide technical and scientific support to the staff and study contacts. Will act as a resource/content expert to Laboratory staff and Research Coordinators

• Recent & relevant experience in IQMH QMS
• Recent & relevant experience in Laboratory Medicine
• Registered with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (required)
• Baccalaureate of Science Degree (preferred)

Unit Summary

The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is a collaborative program funded and operated jointly by Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. The Program is committed to change and innovation, through education, service and research, to bring the highest quality science into healthcare for the benefit of the community and to participate in the clinical application and interpretation of the science. The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) receives contracts for organizational and analytical support for pharmaceutical industry funded studies, from diagnostic companies for analyses and a specialized referral Laboratory for research contracts.
