Baccalaureate of Science Degree (preferred)

Comfortable recommending process changes to achieve better experience for members and employees

Provide general supervision of staff and programs in the role of Manager-on-Duty

Minimum 3 to 5 years administrative experience

Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset

Previous cash handling and inventory control experience

Previous experience with budgeting and financial reporting is a definite asset

Working knowledge within the recreation field

Completion of Fire Prevention Officer training curriculum from the Ontario Fire College, which includes Ontario Certification of:

Experience in reading, interpreting and applying legislation

Proven leadership, organizational and prioritizing skills

Three (3)years experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Three (3) year College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology and/or related discipline

NFPA 1031 - Fire Inspector I & II
