We are currently recruiting for the position of Junior Mechanical Designer. In this position, you will be working directly under the Mechanical Engineer. This entry-level position will give you the experience and skills to become a senior mechanical designer.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customers and the manufacturing team.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop a design to meet their criteria.
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies.
• Develop detailed drawing packages for customer approval and manufacturing.
• Develop new and improve existing products.
• Provide timely updates for project completion and workload.
• Build Assemblies in SolidWorks.

Skills and Experience:

• Self-driven and self-motivated.
• Have an aptitude for mechanical design and industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with Conveyor and Machinery design.
• Solid Works experience desired.
• Compensation will be based on the applicant's experience and capabilities.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to follow common design practices.

Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
