Hays Human Resources division in Ontario, are partnered with Great Canadian Entertainment Canada, to hire a Human Resources Business Partners, to work on site at the Pickering Casino location.

The business employees 7, 500 employees across Canada and due to continued growth are hiring a Human Resources Business Partners to be based at their Pickering Casino Location.


Your new Role


As the Human Resources Business Partner, reporting into the Human Resources Director you will be responsible for the overall performance management, recruitment, training, attendance management, Health and Safety, disability management and contribution of strategic advice to managers in your assigned client group. As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, motivate, and lead by example and provide learning opportunities within a safe and supportive environment for all. In this role you will lead all related HR functions for management in your assigned client group, this is a position where you will effectively manage day to day Operations and are hands on, while supporting the leadership in your client group on more strategic projects, where problem solving is required. You will work closely with different COEs in HR as well as a wider HR team at your site, supported by HR Coordinators and HR Assistants.


What you’ll need to Succeed


To succeed as the Human Resources Business Partner, you will bring 4+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, at an experienced Senior Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Generalist level. You will bring education relating to Human Resources in the form of a Bachelors HR and/ or HRM Certification and/ or CHRP or CHRL. You will possess experience in a related environment, with labour relations, like Manufacturing, production, construction, and/ or hospitality. You will be friendly, hardworking, collaborative and able to act independent and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
