Job Title: Junior Immigration Consultant (Remote) - Vancouver Immigration Consultancy
Overview:
Vancouver Immigration Consultancy is seeking a Junior Immigration Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will work remotely and assist our clients in navigating the Canadian immigration system. We are looking for someone who is passionate about immigration law, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow in their role.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on changes to immigration law and regulations
- Communicating with clients via email, phone, and video conferencing to provide updates on their applications and answer any questions they may have
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of all client interactions and applications
- Conducting consultations with clients to assess their immigration needs and provide guidance on available immigration programs
- Preparing and submitting immigration applications and supporting documents to relevant government agencies
- Conducting research on immigration law, regulations, and policies to ensure that clients are provided with accurate and up-to-date information
- Collaborating with the senior consultants to develop strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity
- Experience using Microsoft Office, G Suite, and other productivity tools
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of Canadian immigration law, regulations, and policies
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Assets:
- Experience using immigration software programs such as ICCRC's e-Apps or ImmigrationDirect
- Fluency in additional languages
- Experience working in a Canadian immigration consultancy or law firm
Salary:
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
