THE POSITION

In your role, as a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering 360 Recruitment Consultant (full cycle) recruiter capable of building and managing your own desk; you will be interacting to find and engage with a wide range of clients and candidates introducing them to new exciting opportunities that you uncover which will make a lasting impression on their career.

• Actively pursue new business opportunities by researching new customer groups, new clients and new business strategies.
• Formally meet with potential clients and make convincing proposals and presentations in order to secure new business and achieve established sales targets
• Sustain and grow current business by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the decision-makers.
• Actively gather competitive intelligence within the business environment, including client groups, competitors with government departments.
• Establish yourself as an industry expect by learning the nuances of the industry, the landscape of competitors, and gaining an understanding of key technical terms and references.
• The types of roles you would recruit for include: Partners, Associates, Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Drafters REVIT, Operators, BIM Coordinators, BIM Managers, Energy Modellers, Sustainability Consultants, Contracts Administrators, Field Services Representatives, Estimators, Project Coordinators, Commissioning Specialists

Qualifications:

• Strong team oriented working style
• You are goal-oriented, purposeful in building new and existing relationships, competitive but thrive in a team environment with the self-motivation to make things happen.
• You thrive on personal achievement
• Technical background would be an asset, but not required. Technical recruitment experience would also be a strong asset
• Very well-developed EQ - you will be the first contact in for potential clients & candidates
• Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities
• You find purpose in helping people advance their careers and seeing companies grow
• MUST HAVE direct sales, business development or cold calling experience
• Excellent organization skills, strong initiative, target-oriented, with experience in, or showing the aptitude to exceed targets are all an asset to have
