Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join a team in the Healthcare sector located in Mississauga.
Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Mississauga

Responsibilities
In this Junior Accountant role in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
  • Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
  • Perform month-end close, and journal entries, with minimum supervision
  • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this Junior Accountant role located in Mississauga:
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience across all aspects of the function including AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliation.
  • Experience working with SAP, Sage 300, Great Plains, Netsuite is an asset.
  • A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
