Job Description

As a Jr Desktop support wyou will be gaining great experience working in one of the IT leading global companies by providing assistance to clients and employees with imaging, installing, moving equipment, solving level 1 software and hardware as desktop and laptops.
´What You´ll Do´
  • Work within process and adhere to process, by recording, updating and documenting request using the IT service desk system (Service Now)
  • Basic inventory management and chain of custody. (HP products primarily used on site).
  • Provide first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner
  • Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Diagnoses and resolving software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows 10) and across a range of software applications on the client machine (Office applications, Outlook, Skype for Business, etc.).
  • Deploy new hire installs of equipment, PC moves, retirement and pickup of devices set for retirement.
  • Work under understanding of SLA.
  • Perform PC Refresh
  • Schedule their own appointments with the customer via email, IM or phone or work in tandem with a dedicated scheduling staff/task assigner.
  • Installation of new hardware for customers, such as new monitors, docking stations, or keyboards.
  • Wipe drives with proper chain of custody.
´Who You Are´
  • High school diploma or G.E.D or college related to IT
  • Have Desktop Computer experience with activities such as Refresh, Desktop Moves, Software break/fix
  • Have previous experience in - Any Enterprise IT Support environment

Work Environment
  • Clearance need for this role
  • May require weekend or OT if there is an ongoing project ( you will benotified in advance)
  • Working shift : Mon - Fri 7 am to 6 pm
  • Work at client site at Etobicoke Casting 15 Browns Line Toronto, Ontario, M8W3S3
