The Opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time, permanent, IT Services Integration Technician. The IT Services Integration Technician is responsible for providing technical support both in the field and internally within the organization. The IT Services Integration Technician works directly with both the Field Services technicians and the IT Services Technical Support team.Their primary goal is to provide the Field Services Technicians with in-field technical support, as well as in-field customer support and troubleshooting.

Job Functions:
Technical Services
- Provides technical support to P2P staff.
- Documents completed product installations at Customer locations with pertinent information included for future servicing.
- Participates in new product trainings when available.
- Proactively monitors the network status and provides updates on potential trouble areas before they arise.
- Provides backup support to IT Services Technical Support Team when required for seamless coverage of customer support.
- Provides technical support to our network of Broadband Customers, both residential and business, within prescribed timeframes and standards of customer service.
- Programs, stages, and tests new equipment before implementation.
- Troubleshoots customer complaints, keeping up to date records within the ticketing system and escalating for high-level support or field services requirements.
- Participates in rotating “on call” schedule.
Field Services
- Provides support to Field Services Technicians on customer projects with an IT component.
- Installs and tests equipment with the support of the Field Services Technicians.
- Primary field resource for all Camera, Access control, and Broadband site infrastructure installations.
- Works with Field Services technicians to evaluate and confirm customer requirements.
- Provides on-site troubleshooting and support to customers when required.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in an IT role.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Field Services Technician, Telecommunications Engineer, or equivalent role.
- IT certifications experience with Cambium, Motorola and Avigilon equipment will be considered an asset
Additional Requirements:
- Must live within 45 minutes of Barrie, ON or be willing to relocate prior to commencing job
- Must hold a valid Drivers Licence
- Detail-oriented
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel to customer locations, as required
- Must pass a criminal record check
